Supply chain visibility

Know where every order stands, and what needs attention

Your trading partner documents already describe what is happening in your supply chain. ECOM turns them into visibility, linking orders, shipments and invoices into one view and flagging exceptions while there is still time to act.

What is supply chain visibility?

Supply chain visibility is the ability to track products, orders and related transactions as they move between suppliers, manufacturers, carriers, warehouses and customers. In B2B integration, visibility is built by correlating documents such as purchase orders, acknowledgments, ship notices, status messages and invoices, and comparing actual events against what was expected.

Outcomes

Accurate, timely documents reduce compliance chargebacks and invoice disputes.

03

Shared facts across teams

Operations, service and finance work from the same transaction history.

Inbound supply monitoring

Track supplier acknowledgments and ship notices against expected receipts.

Logistics status tracking

Monitor shipment milestones across carriers and 3PLs.

Frequently asked questions

Do we need new data sources for visibility?

Often not. The EDI and API transactions you already exchange contain most of the events needed. Additional sources, such as carrier APIs, can be added.

How does AI help with supply chain exceptions?

AI can summarize exceptions, group related events and suggest likely causes. People remain responsible for resolution decisions.

Is visibility only available on PRISM?

Visibility is delivered through PRISM-SCV for transactions processed by PRISM. ECOM can assess options for other sources during discovery.
